Into Math Market Problems

  • Background

    The UX team facilitated a workshop with the Math learning team to capture the market problems and unmet needs of Into Math users. A survey was created from the output which was to prioritize these issues. The results were to support the Math team decisions on where to focus and work on solutions.

    Segments by grade bands N= 134
    • Grades K-2 = 52
    • Grades 3-5 = 88
    • Grades 6-8 = 39

    • Recruit participant segments
    • Collaborate with UX Designer and Math team to determine test method and high-level questions
    • Create survey and MaxDiff in Qualtrics
    • Analysis
    • Deliver report

  • Outcomes

    • Add additional practice for every lesson across K-8
    • Have more interactive game-like practice. Determine if the student’s participation data needs to be collected and reported to the teacher required.
    • Validate where in the lesson or feature should there be more practice for students.
    • What format should the practice be in, print, online forms, or game-like?
